We heard over the weekend that free agent offensive lineman Hank Fraley was in Missouri but on the other side visiting the St. Louis Rams. His agent, Ralph Cindrich, had said he was planning a Tuesday visit with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fraley, as we said, appears to be capable of playing multiple positions on the offensive line and could be a replacement of sorts for departed free agent Wade Smith.
As it turns out, Fraley won't be visiting with the Chiefs nor will he be signing with them because he agreed to terms with the Rams, his agent said.
It wasn't clear how interested the Chiefs were in his services.
The Chiefs are also bringing in Ryan Lilja on Monday and they've previously said they don't want to pay top dollar for him. So, it's possible that the Fraley visit was being used as leverage by the Chiefs if the Lilja visit turns into contract negotiations.
