At the Senior Bowl, Alabama defensive tackle Terrence Cody registered in at a whopping 370 pounds, which was an increase from his playing weight.
The criticism on him came down hard that week as a lot of folks were wondering how a guy couldn't get ready for the biggest job interview of his life.
Well, in this interview, Cody has registered a 16 pound weight loss coming in at 354 pounds, according to Daniel Jeremiah of MoveTheSticks.com.
I'm going to be keeping an eye on Cody. He's projected as possibly going in the early second round -- maybe with the 37th pick.
Chiefs GM Scott Pioli has talked previously of the importance of the nose tackle position. I think the majority opinion around here is that the position will be addressed in some way -- likely through the draft -- before the start of next season.
