The Kansas City Chiefs are continuing their search for the "right 53" at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN. One prospect the Chiefs interviewed was Marshall Newhouse, offensive lineman out of TCU.
Scout.com reports the Chiefs talked with Newhouse on Wednesday night.
He's definitely an interesting prospect and definitely someone who fits the mold of what the Chiefs could be looking for.
Newhouse started at offensive tackle in college but a lot of folks are projecting him as a guard at the next level. Sort of like the opposite of Branden Albert.
At just under 6'4" and 319 pounds he's got good size but what was some scouts excited is his his athleticism and versatility to play just about any position on the offensive line.
He's projected to go in the 3rd-4th round on the high end and the 5th-6th round on the low end.
The Cowboys, Texans and 49ers were among the other teams chatting with him.
