Steve Clarkson has been described as a "quarterback guru" and is taking his talents on the road. Clarkson's Dreammaker Tour is basically a tour around the United States stopping at cities for one day and trying out the top quarterbacks in the area. The quarterback hopefuls are between 6th-12th grade and at each stop one will be chosen to participate in Clark's Super 7 Maui retreat.
This weekend is a stop at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Among the coaches are Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Warren Moon, Matt Leinart and our very own Matt Cassel.
Yes, Matt Cassel the quarterbacks coach. For a day, at least.
Clarkson is the personal instructor for David Sills, a 7th grade quarterback who has already received a scholarship offer from USC.
Seriously.
