Chiefs Not On Karlos Dansby's Wishlist

The Kansas City Chiefs are not on Arizona Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby's four-team wishlist, according to reports.

Speaking on Sirius NFL Radio, Dansby listed four teams of interest to him -- San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins and New York Giants -- should he hit the open market at the onset of free agency on March 5th.

What's interesting is that there's a mix of 3-4 and 4-3 teams on there. A lot of players, if they have the choice, choose between one scheme or the other.

The Chiefs aren't a highly-rated team right now so his lack of interest in the linebacker-hungry Chiefs is understandable.

The Chargers, Dolphins and Giants are perceived playoff contenders so that's likely part of the equation for showing interest in those teams. The Redskins are known throughout the league for over-paying players so I suspect that's part of the motivation by listing them.

For now, it appears Dansby would be in line for a major payday if the Chiefs draw his interest.

On the plus side, if he were to choose the Chiefs, he wouldn't have to change his color scheme.
