The Kansas City Chiefs have won three in a row and stand at 8-4 on the season with a two-game lead in the AFC West. Life is good right now, Chiefs fans.
We're seeing various NFL power rankings for Week 14 come in and the Chiefs are once again right around the top 10. Here's this week's set of power rankings:
SB Nation 11 (13): The Chiefs have now won three in a row. They can knock San Diego out of the division race with a victory next week.
SB Nation Arizona 11 (12): Won a tough division battle at home when Dwayne Bowe didn't make a single catch. No matter how bad the Broncos are, that's a solid win
FOX Sports 10 (10): I've been saying it all season here; for any team to beat the Chiefs, they have to shut down their running game. Kansas City's rushing attack has the most yards (2,102) and most attempts (428 on the season/35.7 per game).
CBS Sports 10 (11): They actually have a two-game cushion in the AFC West. They're starting to feel like a playoff team. They do have a big game Sunday at San Diego.
FanHouse 11 (14): A steady diet of Arizona, Seattle and Denver is just what Kansas City needed to put some separation between their win and loss columns. On top of the favorable schedule, Matt Cassel has been lights out of late. Over his last four games he's thrown 11 touchdown passes and zero picks and aired it out for 1,091 yards.
