Sunday Morning Bloody Mary: Five Predictions For Chiefs-Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos play at Arrowhead Stadium today. There's not much else to say about the game. Here are my five pre-game predictions (and after re-reading them I realize I may be the biggest Chiefs homer out there).

Dexter McCluster is welcomed back in style. When we last saw McCluster, the Chiefs were trying to find ways to get him the ball now. He took a full five weeks off with his ankle injury so I think he'll be completely healthy. My prediction is that he comes back in style and gains over 50 total yards and nabs a touchdown.

Chiefs win the turnover battle. This is at home and KC knows how to protect the ball. Barring a complete meltdown, they're not going to lose this turnover battle. KC wins 2-0.

The streak continues. Indeed, I'm predicting Dwayne Bowe's touchdown streak will be extended to eight games today. Bowe's been the man as of late -- he has seven touchdowns in the last three games -- and that will continue. No one has proven in the last seven weeks they can stop Bowe. Why would the Broncos?

Passing the double century mark. KC will once again hit 200 yards rushing against the Broncos. It's cold and it's December. That's a recipe for KC's rushing attack to turn it up another notch (if there are anymore notches to turn).

Chiefs return the favor. It's a home game which means we're on blowout watch. I predict a KC victory by 10 or more points. And, yes, Todd Haley goes for the handshake.
