Kansas City Chiefs Enter Tennessee Titans Game As Five Point Favorites

The Kansas City Chiefs return home on Sunday to Arrowhead Stadium where they've won six straight games. The Tennessee Titans are the opponent and if Vegas has anything to say about it the Chiefs will win by five points. Indeed the Chiefs are currently five point favorites after opening the week at 4.5 points.

The Titans had been losers of six straight before last Sunday's 31-17 victory over the Houston Texans. The thing to remember from that game is that the Titans got off to a very fast start scoring 21 first quarter points. That will obviously be one of the keys for the Chiefs this weekend.

Also of note is the Titans quarterback situation. QB Vince Young is done for the year and it's now up to QB Kerry Collins. He's been pretty hit-or-miss this year in terms of productivity but the Chiefs will want to put the game on his shoulders by stopping the Titans rushing attack.

The No. 1 key to the game though will ultimately be Chris Johnson. If the Chiefs can stop or at least slow him down, I feel good about their chances.

The Titans are coming off of three straight home games so we're hoping there's some rust for them on the road and make them a little uncomfortable.

What do you think about the Chiefs as five point favorites? I think it's about right.
