We're up for our NFL victory of the week in a poll that does not include the Kansas City Chiefs. Are we being shut out? Or is beating the St. Louis Rams not considered a big win for the Chiefs? Whatever the reason, the Chiefs aren't an option this week (though I'd argue they should be). Here are your candidates for NFL victory of the week:
Eagles over Giants: Wow this was the game of the week in my mind. With a little over eight minutes remaining, Michael Vick and the Eagles were down 31-10 and came back to beat the Giants. The big one of course was DeSean Jackson's punt return touchdown as time expired. Incredible finish.
Jets over Steelers: If you watched this game, you know it was a great one. The Jets held on to beat the Steelers despite Pittsburgh late attempts at a comeback. The Jets are a team the Chiefs could face if they make the playoffs.
Ravens over Saints: The Ravens are pretty underrated as they beat one of the NFC's best teams. This is a very good team and a matchup in the playoffs I would not want to see with Kansas City.
Lions over Bucs: Kudos to the Lions for winning another one. That's two in a row over two playoff contenders. Once they figure out Matthew Stafford's health situation, this will be a good team.
Colts over Jaguars: The win that gave Indy the division. Not quite but the Colts did take the division lead back and they'll take the AFC South if they win out.
Panthers over Cardinals: The one-win Panthers turned into the two-win Panthers. Big win but they should just shoot for that No. 1 pick.
