Jamaal Charles, Kendrick Lewis Up For Awards After Chiefs Beat Rams

Kansas City Chiefs S Kendrick Lewis is up for NFL's Rookie of the Week award for his two interceptions against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. From the looks of it Lewis has a decent shot of winning this one. Other candidates include Carolina Panthers QB Jimmy Clausen, Tampa Bay RB LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez and Buffalo Bills LB Arthur Moats. His safety brethren, Eric Berry, has been nominated four times without winning the award.

WR Dexter McCluster was Rookie of the Week in Week 1 and TE Tony Moeaki got it in Week 3. Those two, along with Berry, and now Lewis have been nominated for Rookie of the Week.

RB Jamaal Charles is also up for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his 126 yards on 11 carries, including an 80-yard run. He's up against Indianapolis Colts RB Donald Brown and Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice.

QB Matt Cassel won the FedEx Air Player of the Week in Week 12 and Charles won the Ground award in Week 8.
