New York Giants Staying In Kansas City For The Night

Well, it looks like it's official -- the New York Giants will be the only NFL team in Kansas City tonight. While the Chiefs travel to San Diego to play the Chargers, the Giants ' plane was diverted to Kansas City as they were traveling to Minnesota to play the Vikings.

Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon now writes via Twitter that the Giants will be staying in Kansas City for the evening.

Back on the bus, actually plane, Gus! To taxi to buses...NYG staying in KC for the night.

The Giants were passing time playing cards and listening to music at KCI. They apparently planned to move to a larger space to hold a walk through but decided not to because they couldn't confirm Josh McDaniels wasn't in the building. It looks like they'll have to hold a walk through some place in Kansas City.

The last time the Giants visited KC was in 2009 and the time before that was the first game after 9/11.

Also, I'm not sure if people were serious asking this question or not (probably not) but, no, they won't be playing the game at Arrowhead instead.
