The Kansas City Chiefs have issued their injury report for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. We already know QB Matt Cassel will be listed as doubtful.
Two other players were also on the injury report this week.
S Kendrick Lewis suffered an ankle injury last week that held him out of the Denver Broncos game. He's officially listed as questionable this week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and a full participant on Friday. That progression would suggest he's got a good shot of playing on Sunday.
S Donald Washington also joined the injury report this week. He didn't practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and practiced in full on Friday. He's also questionable to play.
We've gotta hope one of those safeties is able to go because losing them both may create a depth issue.
For the Chargers, Vincent Jackson is questionable but he did re-join the practice field this week. The San Diego Union Tribune reported that he expects to play "barring a setback". TE Antonio Gates is questionable but he's said he will play on Sunday. RB Darren Sproles is also listed as questionable but it looks like he's got a good shot of playing.
Three injured players is a good number for the Chiefs at this point in the season -- of course one of those names is kind of important.
