Brandon Flowers One Of Few On Chiefs Injury Report

The Kansas City Chiefs have been fairly healthy all year but that ended over the last couple of weeks as we saw multiple key contributors go down. It appears they're on their way back to healthy status with only a few names on the injury report for Wednesday.

We'll start with the big name -- CB Brandon Flowers. He returned to practice but on a limited basis, which is actually an upgrade from last week when he didn't practice at all. Last week's game against the Seattle Seahawks was the first game he's missed all year. I imagine the Chiefs wouldn't mind giving him a little rest as we head into the home stretch but the Denver Broncos passing offense is as tough of a test as the Chiefs will get this year. They need him.

Also on the injury report Wednesday was G Ryan Lilja, S Jon McGraw and CB Jackie Bates. LIlja was limited, as he was on Wednesday and Thursday last week. McGraw has missed three games in a row with a head injury but may be on his way back as he practiced in full on Wednesday. Bates may be the reason CB Mike Richardson was signed as he didn't practice after suffering an injury last week.

I'm assuming that we'll be seeing WR Dexter McCluster this week against the Broncos. We thought that last week after he practiced in full all week but ultimately he was inactive.

Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com has a good run down of the happenings at practice on Wednesday. (Update: And as @JoshLooney notes, LT Branden Albert is not on the injury report.)
