The Kansas City Chiefs rookie class has had a bigger impact in year one than any I remember in a long time. The 2008 class is up there in terms of impact players but the 2010 class wasted no time getting to it.
I'm pretty happy with all the rookies and I consider it a good thing that I have no clue who will win this one.
S Eric Berry: He's got some stuff to work on but as a rookie I'm pretty happy with his impact. He's been solid in run support and even added a couple of sacks last week. He has two picks on the year.
WR Dexter McCluster: He's been out the last two games but has 26 touches for 207 yards through the first six games. He's also got a kick return TD and ranks highly in punt return average.
CB Javier Arenas: He's the primary return man averaging 21 yards per kick return and nine yards per punt return. I've also been noticing him more in the nickel.
G Jon Asamoah: He hasn't had a huge role but he did fill in for Ryan Lilja one game. I think most like his future with the Chiefs.
TE Tony Moeaki: He's been the real deal to this point as he leads the Chiefs in receptions. He was rookie of the week in Week 3.
S Kendrick Lewis: He's been out a couple of games this year but has quickly worked his way into the lineup and plays a lot of snaps.
