The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders will meet on Sunday at Oakland-Alameda Coliseum and Vegas says the game can go either way. This is a late game today so we have a day full of football to watch before we see whether KC advances to 6-2. I'll reserve my prediction on this game for later today but here are the rest of my NFL picks for Week 9:
Chicago Bears at Buffalo Bills: The Bills are getting their first win of the year if you ask me. This team is better than their winless record.
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers: The Saints are seven point favorites and that may be an understatement. They finally looked like the Saints of old last week. I'll go with the Saints.
San Diego Chargers at Houston Texans: The Chargers are actually three point road favorites so clearly Vegas thinks they're doing something right. This is the time of year San Diego usually goes on some sort of ridiculous run and their impressive stats would indicate they're better than 3-5. I'll take the Chargers this week despite an injury to Antonio Gates that will likely keep him out.
Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings are actually big eight point favorites. I'm starting Brett Favre in fantasy football over Ben Roethlisberger so I expect the Vikings to win.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons: This could be the game of the week judging by their 5-2 records but the nine point line in favor of Atlanta suggests otherwise.
New York Jets at Detroit Lions: The Jets are 5.5 point favorites and while I think they win I think it's closer than that. I'll take the Jets by a field goal.
Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens: I like the Ravens at home. They're five point favorites.
New England Patriots at Cleveland Browns: The Browns are another one of those teams that are better than their record, I think. Cleveland is close but the Patriots win this one as five point favorites.
New York Giants at Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks are much better at home. I don't think this is a seven point game in favor of the Giants as Vegas suggests. I'm going with the Seattle upset here.
Indianapolis Colts at Philadelphia Eagles: When was the last time the Colts were 'dogs? I like Indy over Philly.
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers: The Vegas line of 7.5 finally reflects the Cowboys play as of late. Take the Packers.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals: This may be crazy but I'm going with the Bengals to win this one. It's at home on MNF and they'll keep the season alive.
