Chiefs vs. Raiders: Point Spread Shrinking With Nnamdi Asomugha, Zach Miller Doubtful

The Kansas City Chiefs sit at 5-2 and a game and a half over second place Oakland Raiders. Entering Week 9's game in the Black Hole, the Chiefs were 2.5 point underdogs (depending on where you looked).

That was before Oakland's best defensive player, CB Nnamdi Asomugha, and (arguably) best offensive player, TE Zach Miller, were ruled as doubtful for Sunday's game with injuries. If you had asked me, hypothetically, which two players I would take off their team to make a Chiefs win easier, I would say those two.

The result in Vegas is the entire 2.5 point line as most places I'm looking at are now pick 'em. Generally home teams get a few points right off the bat so this is a good sign for Kansas City. So if you're to believe the money the momentum is on the Chiefs side.

If you're looking for gambling advice then listen to my 97-year old Grandmother who tells me Sunday morning, 'They'll beat the pants off those Raiders.'
