The Kansas City Chiefs are wrapping up the month of November and, suffice to say, it's been an offensive month. The first two games -- losses to the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos -- were definitely offensive to me as a fan of good football. The last two games -- victories against the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks -- were definitely offensive if you looked at the stats.
The Chiefs game release for Broncos week has a variety of neat stats wrapping up the month of November.
During the month of November, only Colts TE Jacob Tamme (38) registered more receptions than WR Dwayne Bowe (37), while Bowe led the NFL in receiving yards (528) and receiving TDs (8). QB Matt Cassel threw an NFLhigh 12 TDs and just one INT during the month, while only GB's Aaron Rodgers (130.2) and NE's Tom Brady (121.7) compiled better passer ratings than Cassel (111.2). Meanwhile, RB Jamaal Charles registered 58 carries for 355 yards (6.1 avg.) and one TD in November and also added 16 catches for 168 yards (10.5 avg.) with one TD, including a 173-yard rushing outing at Seattle (11/28).
To recap, only one player had more receptions than WR Dwayne Bowe and no one had more receiving TDs or receiving yards. Matt Cassel also led the NFL with 12 passing TDs.
It's one thing to have a great Sunday and turn yourself into a one-week fantasy football star. It's quite another to do it for a month.
