Various Week 13 NFL power rankings are coming in and things are once again looking up for the Kansas City Chiefs. After two consecutive victories it's becoming harder and harder to keep the KC Chiefs out of the top 10 but most have found a way to do it.
It looks like the average position for the Chiefs this week is right around 12-13, which I think is fair. Hey, is it really impressive to beat the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks? Not really.
Here are a bunch of rankings for the Chiefs:
SB Nation - 13 (14): "The Chiefs looked sharp on Sunday against the Seahawks. It's looking more and more like the Dec. 12 matchup with the Chargers will decide the division."
SB Nation Philly - 12 (13): "This is just a hell of a team at home."
SB Nation Arizona - 12 (13): "Dwayne Bowe is a certified bad-ass and suddenly Matt Cassel does not turn the ball over. Week 14 visit to San Diego will basically be their season."
FOX Sports - 10 (13): "If we were to give out the most improved team award this season, the Chiefs probably would win it. And their much-maligned QB Matt Cassel is proving to be one of most improved players at his position."
CBS Sports - 11 (14): "Dwayne Bowe is having a monster season and the Chiefs are the leaders in the AFC West. Matt Cassel is playing better and better."
FanHouse - 14 (15): "We knew the Chiefs were great at home, and now they've taken their act to the road. With Jamaal Charles chewing up yardage every time he touches the ball, and Dwayne Bowe a threat to score any time from any distance, this Chiefs offense looks unstoppable right now. They face Denver at home this week before a critical Week 14 game in San Diego."
