Chiefs vs. Seahawks: Dexter McCluster, Brandon Flowers Out For KC

Earlier this week Nick Wright of 610 Sports reported that WR Dexter McCluster was likely to miss Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. I was a little surprised by that considering McCluster has practiced in full all week. As it turns out, Wright is indeed right and McCluster is inactive today. This marks his fifth consecutive missed game.

Also inactive for the Chiefs is CB Brandon Flowers, which is no surprise as he was listed as doubtful on the injury report with a hamstring injury. This will be the first game Flowers has missed this year.

Here are the rest of the Chiefs inactives: FB Tim Castille, CB Donald Washington, S Jon McGraw, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Justin Cole and NT Anthony Toribio.

Washington and McGraw are the only notables on that list. McGraw was questionable with a head injury while it appears Washington's absence is due to the cornerback depth necessary to replace Flowers.

Of note on the Seahawks side of things, WR Mike Williams is inactive. He's their leading receiver and is suffering from some sort of injury. That's great news for KC and helps offset the news on Flowers.
