Brandon Flowers' Injury Keeps Him Out Of Chiefs Practice Again

The Kansas City Chiefs may want to prepare to play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday without CB Brandon Flowers, arguably their best defensive player. Flowers missed practice again on Thursday marking the second consecutive day he's missed since injuring his hamstring in the Chiefs Week 11 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Kent Babb of the KC Star -- who deserves our Thanksgiving wishes for covering the team on a holiday -- doubts Flowers will be available for the Chiefs on Sunday against the Seahawks.

Chiefs head coach Todd Haley says players generally have to practice to play so if Flowers isn't out there on Friday I think you can plan on not seeing him on Sunday. It should be noted that Flowers played through a shoulder injury all of last year so he has history of playing hurt.

Babb reports LT Branden Albert, who was also injured in the Week 11 game against the Cardinals, appeared to practice in full along with TE Tony Moeaki. Check out @KentBabb for more practice updates.

The Seahawks have the 20th ranked passing offense so I suppose it's better to miss Flowers in this game as opposed to the next two weeks -- Denver Broncos (4th) and San Diego Chargers (1st).
