The Kansas City Chiefs had a pretty miserable 2009 draft if you're trying to judge it a year and a half removed. There's just not much there. While it doesn't help the Chiefs, it does feel a little better to know that the 2009 draft might be one of the worst in recent memory.
Colin Brown, one of those Chiefs '09 draft picks, was cut by the team just one year later before the '10 season. Brown later resurfaced in the UFL with his name appearing on the Hartford Colonials roster.
Now the Baltimore Ravens have signed Brown to the practice squad.
Brown didn't have much of a chance in Kansas City as he went through training camp in 2009 and was surprisingly placed on IR before the season. He returned to training camp in 2010 but the Chiefs had apparently already moved on.
On the active roster, the Chiefs have four '09 draft picks: DE Tyson Jackson, CB Donald Washington, TE Jake O'Connell and K Ryan Succop. DE Alex Magee was traded, RB Javarris Williams was cut and WR Quinten Lawrence is on the practice squad.
