Chiefs vs. Cardinals: Five Pregame Predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs play the Arizona Cardinals at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday and we've got five predictions for the game. Statistically, the Chiefs hold major advantages all over the place so even off-the-wall predictions have a chance to come to fruition.

Here are five predictions for the Chiefs and Cardinals game:

Matt Cassel to Dwayne Bowe again. They've connected for a touchdown for five consecutive games (and eight times total in those five games). Make that six games in a row today!

A Chiefs running back goes over 100 yards. The stats say the Chiefs should be able to run it all over Arizona and they're definitely due. I think one of these running backs -- I'm not sure which one -- passes 100 yards on the ground today. The Cardinals defense is too miserable not to expect a solid performance from the running backs (Hey, didn't you say that about the Denver game....).

Chris Chambers comes alive. Chris Chambers has disappeared this year until catching four balls for 36 yards last week in the blowout loss to the Denver Broncos. This week, Chambers doubles those numbers and puts up 72 yards receiving. He can't be invisible the entire year (....can he?).

Chiefs win the turnover battle. I say this every week because I'm confident they can do it. The Chiefs will dominate the turnover differential 3-0 with two interceptions and a fumble recovery. KC should win this area handily.

Chiefs win the game. I'm predicting a 27-10 victory for Kansas City. I'm just too confident in the ability of these guys to bounce back -- and I'm also a little confident that the Cardinals aren't very good and won't compete.
