NFL Power Rankings, Week 9: KC Chiefs Continue To Show They're For Real

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again hovering around the top 10 in most of the NFL power rankings for Week 9 that we've seen. The Chiefs have earned those spots around the top 10 with a 5-2 record and a healthy 1.5 game lead in the AFC West. They'll have a shot to extend that lead on Sunday when they visit the second place Oakland Raiders.

The Chiefs don't have a ton of room to go up because their schedule is friendly down the stretch but, you know, power rankings don't matter. So the Chiefs will gladly take their division title easy schedule or not. We'll see if that actually happens though.

Here are a few of the NFL power rankings we've found. Drop any more in the comments and we'll add them.

SB Nation: 11 (12): The Bills took them to OT but they did the same to the Ravens. The Chiefs schedule is very friendly and if they continue to play like they have this year they should cruise.

FOX Sports: 10 (13) You certainly could argue that Kansas City is probably the NFL's most improved team this season. The formula is very simple for them to win: run the ball well and take the ball out of QB Matt Cassel's hands as much as possible.

CBS Sports: 10 (10): Can you believe their game at Oakland this week is a big one? They are another team that needs more from the passing game.

Walter Football: 14 (17)

NESN.com: 13 When is a win not really a win? When you need 75 minutes to beat the Bills at home.
