The Kansas City Chiefs took to the practice field on Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Chiefs may be headed towards their largest list of injured players this year. They'll release official practice report information this afternoon.
Todd Haley headlines the injury report this week. Apparently he has a leg injury.
QB Matt Cassel: Nick Wright of 610 Sports reports that Cassel had some sort of ankle injury in Sunday's game (more info at his Twitter page). Asked about it on 810 WHB Monday, Cassel said, "Oh, I'm fine. You know, it's just one of those things at this time of year everybody gets some bumps and bruises and you just gotta play through it and that's kinda what happened."
TE Tony Moeaki: Wright reported after Sunday's game that he had a concussion after a hit he took during an onsides kick during the game. He was not at practice on Wednesday.
WR Dexter McCluster: Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com reports it was "more of the same" for McCluster, who has been limited the last three weeks with an ankle injury.
G Brian Waters: Looney reports Waters was at practice but Jon Asamoah was taking reps at left guard. Waters was limited last week with a shoulder injury but played on Sunday before coming out with a groin injury.
Other players on the injury watch: S Kendrick Lewis and S Jon McGraw missed last week.
