Chiefs Send LB Mark Simoneau To IR; LB Charlie Anderson Returns

Last week the Kansas City Chiefs released LB Charlie Anderson in order to make room for S Ricky Price on the active roster because both S Kendrick Lewis and S Jon McGraw were out with injuries in the Denver Broncos game.

The Chiefs have now brought Anderson back and surprisingly placed LB Mark Simoneau on injured reserve ending his season.

The Simoneau news is surprising because he was just signed on Oct. 27. He was inactive for the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders game but active for the Denver Broncos game.

He was not on the injury report for Broncos week so the injury likely came either during the game or sometime in the last three days.

The news is a little surprising considering we haven't heard much from Simoneau this year. Since Simoneau was placed on IR, and Anderson replaces him, the Chiefs do not have an open roster spot.
