Over the next few days, we'll talk about some of the positives that came out of this Kansas City Chiefs/Denver Broncos match. But for now, all I can say, is that we got freakin' crushed. The Chiefs lost by 20 points to the Broncos, on the road, at Sellout Field. It was basically the reverse of the last time these two teams plays in Week 17 of the 2009 season when the Chiefs won by 20 on the same field.
Matt Cassel had arguably his best game as a Chief. He was 33/53 for 469 yards and four TDs. Did I mention no interceptions? The rushing game was non-existant, with the vast majority of carries going to Jamaal Charles. Dwayne Bowe had a huge game for the Chiefs, going over 160+ yards receiving and nabbing two touchdowns. Hmmm...Who predicted Bowe would have two receiving touchdowns this game?
The defense...well....the defense. Let's hash that out as the week goes on.
Right now, give us your team grade for the Chiefs. Much more analysis to come.
