Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles Injury Question Answered

I forgot to mention this yesterday but for those who had been asking this week about any possible injuries to Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles, ask no longer. The Chiefs injury report on Wednesday and Thursday has not included Charles which means he's healthy enough to play.

Chiefs head coach Todd Haley indicated earlier in the week that Charles had some "physical issues" that kept him out at times during the Oakland Raiders game.

"He had to come out of the game multiple times yesterday for different physical reasons," Haley said on Monday.

It was unclear at the time if Haley meant Charles was injured or just banged up in the Raiders game. His absence on the injury report this week answers that question.

Charles' had a shoulder issue heading into the offseason that required surgery. Last year he told us that the shoulder would pop out occasionally (dating back to high school) but always downplayed the seriousness of it. It sounds like that shoulder isn't bothering him much this year if he's not on the injury report.
