Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley and at least a half dozen Chiefs were at the Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game at the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City Friday night.
From what I can gather, it was a who's who of the Kansas City sports scene.
Haley was there, according to the (other) AP, and I've seen Twitter accounts of quite a few other Chiefs being there including: Thomas Jones, Dwayne Bowe, Glenn Dorsey, Eric Berry, Dexter McCluster and Brian Waters.
The photo comes from Dorsey's Twitter account. Not bad seats, huh?
Others that went to the game saw quite a few more, I'm sure. The KC Star's Candace Buckner has a snippet on the KC Chiefs affair at the Sprint Center last night:
The rest of courtside looked like the Chiefs’ locker room. Bowe posed for photos, and Haley, wearing a fashionable skull cap, greeted fans. Prime real estate for the coach, but Chiefs lineman Brian Waters wasn’t jealous that Haley had better seats than his second-row view.
"He was willing to spend the money," Waters explained. "I wasn’t."
I need some education on what a skull cap is. Anyone? Is it really fashionable?
