A few folks are coming out with NFL quarterly awards now that we're 4-of-17 weeks into the season.
Pete Prisco of CBS Sports is one of those people and he included several Kansas City Chiefs in his quarterly awards.

Defensive player runner-up: CB Brandon Flowers (LB Clay Matthews)
- Head coach runner-up: Todd Haley (Mike Tomlin)
- Assistant coach: DC Romeo Crennel
- Best free agent pickup runner-up: RB Thomas Jones (DE Julius Peppers)
- Surprise team: Kansas City Chiefs
Can't complain about much of that. I was thinking Jones might be a bit of a stretch but then I checked and he was top 10 in rushing yards after three weeks so he's doing something right.
