The Kansas City Chiefs 2008 draft class has been lauded by many because the Chiefs picked up a handful of long-term starters in that draft.
One of those players -- 3rd round pick DaJuan Morgan -- is not a long-term starter. in fact, he's not on the Chiefs anymore.
He's now with the Colts and tells the Indy Star he's looking forward to seeing his 2008 draft classmates, especially Brandon Flowers and Brandon Carr.
"We're like brothers," Morgan said. "Those are the guys I'm closest to on that team. We came in together. (But) I'm not up, high, eager, ready to play them because it's Kansas City. I take every week the same."We're just trying to get better. We're just trying to get back on track and play Colts football."
I liked Morgan when the pick came around because he had the size and speed to be a good player. But he never made it onto the field with two different sets of management in Kansas City.
Unlike his buddies, Flowers and Carr, who are building blocks for the Chiefs defense.
