Generally Tuesday is the day NFL power rankings start to come out but for now, we've got a question: Will the Chiefs continue to rise?

Yeah, they were off last week, but a few teams most consider ahead of them lost.

Here are a few teams that could drop below the Chiefs this week in various NFL power rankings: Steelers, Colts, Eagles, Bengals and Cardinals.

I think you can make a case that the Chiefs should be ranked ahead of the Bengals and Cardinals after their latest losses. Truthfully, they were probably ranked ahead of them anyway. Then there are the Steelers, Colts and Eagles. I think most would consider those teams better than the Chiefs but it's getting harder to justify ranking a 2-2 team over a 3-0 team, even if it is early in the season.

Here are the teams I could see being ranked AHEAD of the Chiefs: Jets, Patriots/Dolphins (MNF), Ravens, Steelers, Texans, Colts, Bears, Packers, Falcons and Saints.

If that list is about accurate, that would leave the Chiefs around the 10th spot in most NFL power rankings.
