Chiefs Face Peyton Manning And The Colts Coming Off Of A Loss

Whether the Kansas City Chiefs want to or not, they'll be facing Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts coming off of a loss.

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee hit a 59-yard field goal as time expired to beat the Colts, 31-28.

The post-game chatter at Stampede Blue is what to do with that defense.

This week, we're going to hear lots of different reasons why the Colts lost. The turnovers will come up. You'll hear people talk about getting better at 'the little things.' Chatter about 'tackling better,' 'trusting our teammates,' and 'staying in their gaps.' The problem is we've all heard this nonsense before, and my question is if people are still not hitting their gaps, trusting teammates, or even tackling well WTF are they doing playing on this defense?

For the second game in a row against a division opponent, the Colts defense looked flat, lazy, undisciplined, unfocused, and (amazingly) not ready to play professional football.

I encourage you to hop on over to Stampede Blue and see what Colts fans are saying. It sounds like the frustration with the defense isn't a new one. It's the same type of Colts teams the Chiefs have played in the Manning era: Strong offense and a questionable defense.

Yep....Colts week is finally here.
