First-Place Chiefs Means Todd Haley Is Having Fun

You're 4-2 and in first place of your division. Should you be having fun?

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley thinks he should be and he told reporters on Thursday that he's having a good time.

"Everything’s fun. I say it all the time, the players have the greatest job in the world and we’ve got the second-greatest job in the world, in my opinion. Everything is fun. It’s fun coming to work, it’s fun living in Kansas City. The more you learn about the town and the people and the places and all those things, it’s all fun."

The vibe is much more laid back -- yet focused -- at Arrowhead this year. Last year there was a lot of tension and you didn't see any fun going on. Now, in the locker room after a game, you see guys talking to each other, they're up beat and generally happy to be there. Last year was depressing looking back on it now.

Part of having fun is being able to make fun of your co-workers -- Charlie Weis seems like an easy target.

"I’ve been making fun of that cart for a number of months now and one of my comebacks is some of us wouldn’t dare use a cart," Haley says of Weis' cart.
