The Kansas City Chiefs waived WR Jeremy Horne before last Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Horne, who had been seen in an inflatable boot on his leg last week, had been active for just three games despite having a strong training camp.
He wasn't gone for very long as the Chiefs added him back to the practice squad, according to Brian McIntye of Mac's Football Blog.
The Chiefs had elevated WR Verran Tucker from the practice squad when Horne was released so there was already an open spot.
Here's the rest of the practice squad: DE/DT Dion Gales, OT Bobby Greenwood, G Darryl Harris, WR Quinten Lawrence, QB Tyler Palko, S Ricky Price and LB Pierre Walters.
Keeping Horne is a good move for the Chiefs. He showed some flashes of talent during training camp but hasn't gotten a ton of opportunities on the Chiefs active roster yet.
