Kansas City Chiefs S Eric Berry could receive his first major honor in the NFL. He's up for the NFL's rookie of the week award for Week 7 after forcing a fumble and grabbing an interception against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Berry's name is big enough that I think he would garner some votes.
The only problem? Dez Bryant. He put up three total TDs in the Dallas Cowboys loss to the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. That means we're going to need ALL of you to vote this week.
Here's a look at the candidates:
- Eric Berry: 3 tackles, INT, FF
- Panthers WR David Gettis: 125 rec. yards, 2 TDs
- Cowboys WR Dez Bryant: 2 rec. TDs, 1 punt return TD
- Bengals WR Jordan Shipley: 131 rec. yards, 1 TD
- Buccaneers WR Mike Williams: 82 rec. yards
What do you think? Can Berry win it? Don't forget to vote!
