Pro Bowl voting is now open on NFL.com. With the Kansas City Chiefs hot start we may see a few Chiefs get talked about in regards to Pro Bowl consideration.
Voting concludes on Dec. 20 and the winners will be announced on Dec. 28. GO HERE to vote at NFL.com.
Here are a few thoughts on possible Chiefs in the Pro Bowl:
Thomas Jones / Jamaal Charles: Splitting carries between those two may put them out of the running for a Pro Bowl bid. Jones has 461 yards rushing (16th in NFL) and Charles has 489 yards rushing (13th in NFL).
Brian Waters: I'd be lying if I told you I could scout each offensive line and determine the best player. I think most fans are like that so name recognition is important. Brian Waters may get consideration here. The Chiefs are running the ball too well not to see some people talking about the offensive line.
Derrick Johnson: Maybe this is a stretch but in KC at least his leap from 2009 to 2010 has been impressive. He's been a major part of the Chiefs turnaround on defense.
Tamba Hali: He's tied for 12th in the league right now with 5.5 sacks. He's been far and away the Chiefs most consistent pass rusher.
Brandon Flowers: Competition will come from Darrelle Revis and Nnamdi Asomugha but frankly Flowers has been better this year. Despite the competition, I think he's the Chief most likely to get a Pro Bowl bid.
Here's the break down of how many players from each position go to the Pro Bowl.
