The Kansas City Chiefs are up by a ten points against the Houston Texans this afternoon. It's 24 to 14 in the third quarter. So far, the best plays are coming from two players us Chiefs fans had essentially written off since the Indy game: Dwayne Bowe and Matt Cassel.
Dwayne Bowe had a fantastic run and catch for a touchdown early in the first quarter, his second of the day. Bowe has done virtually everything he can do to erase the bad memories of last weekend.
Cassel is playing one of the best games of his career: 3 touchdown passes and 16/19 throwing the ball is a great day.
Houston Texans RB Derrick Ward broke a big run for a touchdown in the third quarter. He bursted through the line, did a few shakes, and ran it in for a 38-yard touchdown.
The Chiefs are up but this Texans team is good. I think this game comes down the final minutes.
