Former Chief Heads To The Arena Football League

In a very slow news day, we've got an Arena Football League update.

WR Rich Gunnell spent training camp with the Chiefs this year but didn't make the final roster.

His next move is the Arena Football League. The Pittsburgh Power, specifically.

The Power also announced Friday that it has signed four players: lineman Nick Hennessy, wide receiver Rich Gunnell, defensive back Antonio Smith and defensive tackle Terrence Reese.

Gunnell, who played at Boston College, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in April before signing with the Power.

Another Kansas City connection: The Power also hired the Kansas City Brigade's (AFL) former defensive coordinator.
