Randy Moss Says The New York Jets Secondary Reminds Him Of The Kansas City Chiefs

After the Minnesota Vikings' loss last night to the New York Jets, Vikings WR Randy Moss was asked how it was playing against the All-Star duo of CBs Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. Moss' answer: It was like playing the Kansas City Chiefs.

Of the late 1990s that is.

Moss said, "The Jets are a good team. Revis and Cromartie remind of the Kansas City Chiefs when they had Dale Carter and James Hasty. It was hard to throw on both sides. I give credit to both of those guys."

If you recall, James Hasty and Dale Carter were both Pro Bowlers - Hasty in 1997 and 1999, and Carter from 1994-97.

My favorite Dale Carter story of all time is when he was supposed to come and have lunch in our cafeteria with a buddy of mine who won a contest. We were probably in fourth grade. Carter ending up canceling like three times and eventually they sent Joe Valerio to eat with my friend.
