AFC West Standings: Broncos, Chargers Lose; Chiefs Hold Onto Lead

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to hold a strong advantage in the AFC West through Week 5 of the 2010 season. Despite the Chiefs 19-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, KC holds a one and a half game lead over everyone.

Here's what happened in Week 5:

  • Kansas City 9 Indianapolis 19
  • Denver 17 Baltimore 31
  • San Diego 27 Oakland 35

Yes, thank the Raiders for giving the Chargers another loss.

Here's how the AFC West standings look like:

1. Kansas City Chiefs (3-1)

2. Denver Broncos (2-3)

3. Oakland Raiders (2-3)

4. San Diego Chargers (2-3)

Yeah, it'd be better if the Chiefs won but both the Broncos and Chargers lost so they sort of bailed the Chiefs out.
