Chiefs' Brodie Croyle Says Arrowhead Stadium Is Closest To SEC Atmosphere

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle joined the Dan Patrick Show on Friday talking Chiefs, Alabama and stadium experience.

We've often heard -- and for many of us, experienced -- that Arrowhead Stadium is the closest thing you'll get to a college atmosphere. The tailgating, drinking, being so close to the field and the overall experience reminds you of a Saturday rather than a Sunday.

Here's what Croyle said when asked to compare a Chiefs home game and an Alabama home game.

Very similar. I think, as far as NFL goes, Kansas City is as close as you can get to a college atmosphere, especially the Monday night game to open the season. It was really rocking there. But, being an Alabama guy, growing up here, always being a fan, it's hard to beat the Bryant-Denny experience.

I think that's fair. He's from Alabama, grew up in Alabama and went to Alabama so I can see how he'd say that.

As for other SEC schools, we find out that Croyle and Chiefs rookie Eric Berry could have a rivalry brewing.

With the bad blood between Alabama and Tennessee, if I had gone to Tennessee, I wouldn't be welcomed back in the state.
