Chiefs Make it Official With Charlie Weis

Nothing can stop the arrival of Charlie Weis in Kansas City now.

The Kansas City Chiefs have formally announced the arrival of Charlie Weis as the new offensive coordinator.

The Kansas City Chiefs named Charlie Weis as the club’s offensive coordinator on Friday. Weis will be entering his 32nd season in the coaching ranks and his 16th year in the National Football League. He has coached in five Super Bowls and owns four Super Bowl rings. Weis joins the Chiefs after a five-year stint as the head coach at Notre Dame (2005-09), where he compiled a 35-27 record.

Third sentence into the press release talks about his Super Bowls. Gotta love that.

One coordinator down...one more to go?
