Former Chiefs Coach Krumrie May Not Be Out Of Work Long

The Kansas City Chiefs fired did not renew defensive line coach Tim Krumrie's contract following the season making him a free agent coach.

Reports are surfacing connecting former NFL and UFL coach Jim Haslett to the Washington Redskins defensive coordinator job. And, according to Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network, Haslett is interested in bringing along Krumrie wherever he goes.

At first glance, I'm not quite sure what the connection between the two is but Krumrie has a reputation around the league as a hard-nosed coach.

New Redskins coach Mike Shanahan could be interested in moving to the 3-4 defense, which is why the Redskins plan to meet with Haslett.

We know Krumrie has some recent experience of transitioning to a 3-4 defense.
