Many of you watched the National Championship game last night between Alabama and Texas. The Crimson Tide came out on top with a two score victory after Longhorns QB Colt McCoy went down with an injury in the first quarter.
An ugly game at times but entertaining nonetheless.
There are four Kansas City Chiefs players that are smiling this morning because they happen to be former Alabama players:
- QB Brodie Croyle
- RB Tim Castille
- DE Wallace Gilberry
- DE Bobby Greenwood
Unfortunately, there's always a loser in these games and these three former Longhorns are feeling the effects of that:
- RB Jamaal Charles
- LB Derrick Johnson
- DT Derek Lokey
Charles and Johnson said last week they were planning on attending the game. I imagine most of these players did or tried to attend the game last night.
