Chiefs Lose Tight Ends Coach to the Bills

As I was writing the entry directly below this, I noticed that the Buffalo Bills had hired a man by the name of Bob Bicknell.

Hmm...that name sounds familiar.

Bicknell had been with the Chiefs since 2007 working on the offensive line and most recently the tight ends.

The Chiefs website still lists Bicknell as their tight ends coach, but the Bills announced him as one of Chan Gailey's hires to it appears that they've lost him.

After the season, Chiefs coach Todd Haley said they did not renew the contracts of Tim Krumrie and Joe D'Alessandris. He said those would be the only changes.

However, it appears Gailey plucked Bicknell from them.

Now the Chiefs are in the market for a tight ends coach, which is actually great timing considering the Senior Bowl is a job fair of sorts for "free agent" coaches.
