Report: Al Davis Has Interviewed UFL and CFL Head Coach For Raiders Job

Let's file this under the "That's about right" category.

Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis has interviewed at least two people for the head coaching job, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

What's that you say? They currently have a head coach in Tom Cable? Yes, yes, I know. Remember, this is the Raiders.

Your candidates are, according to the Chronicle, Las Vegas head coach Jim Fassel and Montreal head coach Marc Trestman.

What's that you say? There is no Las Vegas or Montreal NFL franchise? Yes, yes, I know.

The Las Vegas franchise is actually the UFL franchise. And Montreal is, you guessed it, the CFL.

This is really nothing new as Davis has put together coaching staffs for his head coach in the past. In fact, he put together Tom Cable's staff.

This should be fun.
