Two Chiefs Named to All-Rookie Team

Last season didn't have many bright spots for the Chiefs, but the first draft under Pioli seems to be on the right track. DE Tyson Jackson and K Ryan Succop have been named to the 2009 All-Rookie team by the Pro Football Writers of America and Pro Football Weekly

As we all know, Succop had a record setting season for a Chiefs kicker and one of the best seasons for any rookie kicker in nearly three decades. Tyson Jackson, on the other hand, didn't set any records but was a solid player that appeared in all 16 games this past season.

The Chiefs will need to build on their young nucleus for next season, and so far it seems like they are off to a good start.
