One Former Chief Get His First Playoff Win, Another Doesn't

One storyline from last weekend's playoff games that slipped my mind was the status of one long-time former Kansas City Chiefs player who was looking for his first playoff victory.

Tony Richardson, Chiefs FB from 1995-2005, currently plays for the New York Jets and got his first playoff win since entering the league.

"Tony is old as heck," teammate Dustin Keller said. "We tease him that he played for Buddy Ryan."

T-Rich is one of my favorite former Chiefs because he quietly went about his business. Plus, you gotta love guys that are still making the Pro Bowl in year 13, as Richardson did in 2007.

Unfortunately, another former Chief didn't get the same opportunity as Richardson. Tony Gonzalez was once again shut out of the playoffs and shut out of an opportunity to record a playoff win.
