Brodie Croyle Talks About Lack of Identity for the Chiefs

We've got another video of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle speaking to the media following yesterday's practice. This one isn't long but focuses less on him being the starter this week and more on the team identity aspect.

As in, this team has no identity.

You can read the first part of the interview here. You can view the video of this part of the interview here.

You've been out there the last couple of years trying to win a job. Is it maybe a different approach for you this time?

"It's still competing and trying to win a job but at the same time it's kind of a different job that we're trying to win.

"At the same time it's still competing. You still get to go out there and play and you still have something to go out there and play for. That's what we all do this have something to compete for and have a goal."

On having an identity as a team:

"As a team you always want to have an identity. I think he (Haley) is right. We haven't fully found what ours is going to be just yet.

"You'll have kinda that defining moment where you figure it out, where you figure out what kinda team you're going to be...what your mantra, or whatever you wanna call it, is going to be.

"I don't want to say it's a defining moment but when it happens you're going to know it. If you're going to be a throwing team, if you're going to be a running team, pound it out physical football can't say what you're going to be.

"At some point you just have to kinda mold into that."
