Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel practiced again today as the team held a walk-through in preparation for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. We've realized that we won't know the question of 'Will he or won't he play?' until Sunday morning. The Chiefs should have to declare the starter around 90 minutes before the game.
But he was out there again today according to Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star. Here's a quick recap of what the Chiefs quarterback has been doing this week:
He was in full pads and dropped back gingerly. He only took part in individual drills.
No practice on Tuesday
He was again in full pads.
Cassel to be listed as 'Questionable' for Sunday's game
This is expected. Basically, this means he has a 50-50 shot at playing.
First injury report: Cassel a 'limited participant'
The Chiefs are required to submit their first injury report and, per the terms of the report, list Cassel as having a "limited participation" in practice.
Bob Gretz said he was looking better. Josh Looney said his demeanor on the field was normal. Kent Babb said he still looks gimpy.
Cassel to be a 'game time decision'
According to the head coach and the quarterback, the team won't decide on his fate until Sunday morning.
